Lt. Shigure

The protagonist of a novella I'm currently writing, Lt. Kaname Shigure, a Supranational Defense Organization trooper who's caught up in the events of the novella. She's a tough cookie with years of combat experience, but all that experience is based on fighting enemies on the ground, not in space.
